Pilot Butte Ascent Series — Spring

Sale Price: $75.00 Original Price: $95.00

Thursdays · April 2 – April 30
6:00–7:00 AM · Pilot Butte · Bend, Oregon

Build strength, endurance, and confidence — one climb at a time.

The Pilot Butte Ascent Series is a 5-week guided small-group training experience designed to help you move stronger and more efficiently using hills as a powerful fitness tool. Hills improve cardiovascular health, muscular strength, balance, and long-term mobility — whether you’re a runner, hiker, or simply someone who wants to feel stronger in your body.

Each week, we return to the same climb to practice steady effort through a mix of walking, power hiking, and running. Sessions are effort-based — not pace-based — with a focus on good mechanics, repeatable work, and sustainable progress.

You do not need to run the entire hill. Most participants use a combination of movement strategies. The goal is simple: choose the effort that allows you to come back stronger the following week.

This is not a race and not a high-intensity workout group. It’s a supportive environment centered on consistency, confidence, and long-term fitness.

What’s Included

• Five guided group sessions
• Warm-up and coached climb each week
• Coaching cues for effort, posture, and pacing
• Optional second uphill effort
• At-home exercises to support hill progress
• Small group size for personalized attention
• Participant raffles and giveaways
• Priority access to future Ember Ascent programming
